    Money Market Account
A money market account is a savings account with the added benefit of having some features similar to a checking account. So you can benefit from the higher returns on your deposits, but keep the flexibility of having access to your funds when you need them. Money market accounts have a tiered dividend rate based on the balance of your account. No minimum balance is required, however a minimum of $1,000 is needed to earn interest.

    IRAs
IRA certificates are a great choice for longer-term savings and retirement planning thanks to their tax benefits, higher dividend rates, and easy automatic savings. The dividend rates and APY for IRAs depend on which terms you select when funding your account. An initial deposit of $500 is required, and that is the minimum balance required. Members can open an IRA by visiting a service center or calling our Member Care Center at 800.999.5887.
